ENDLESS BLOCKADE/HATRED SURGE SHOW

Is it just me or is this flyer pretty weak?

Anywho, this show is a call for all you angst-driven, socially outraged and pissed off youth looking to tweak your ears to the finest of power violence. Despise you, ahem, I mean Hatred Surge and The Endless Blockade in one show is more than I could ask for and should definitely not be a miss-out for all of you valley heads.

Expect deranged sets with full blown noise!

THE FIRST GREAT DEPRESSION

South Texas College’s Distinguished Speaker Series Presents:

THE FIRST GREAT DEPRESSION OF THE 21ST CENTURY: CAUSES AND IMPLICATIONS.
A Presentation by
Dr. Anwar Shaikh

Thursday, 25th February at 7 p.m.

Bldg. D Auditorium, Pecan Campus

“Several factors have […] lead me to the view that capitalism is a powerful shaping force which steadily transforms all cultures and institutions in its path, bending those which will bend and breaking those which will not. The central concern of my work has been the attempt to understand the fundamental processes at work in advanced capitalism […] How do market economies work, and why do they generate certain recurrent patterns which seem to cut across differences in origin, in culture, and even historic epochs. Why is capitalist growth characterized by order-within-disorder, periodically punctuated by episodes of general economic crisis?” – Anwar Shaikh

Dr. Anwar Shaikh is a distinguished author and professor of economics at the New School for Social Research. He will be discussing the reasons behind the recent economic decline in the US and its consequences.

Julioooo Bashmoreee

I don't understand how this dude does it, but he does! Julio Bashmore is undeniably one of the most talented, young, and soothe-sounding producers of the year. I can't help but bob my head placidly and feel the rush of endorphins grow through my body when I hear his productions and this mixtape.

Julio Bashmore AKA Matt incorporates a mixture of old school house, dub, 2-step, and funky throughout this mixtape. You can pretty much hear the roots screaming out at you in this mixtape.
