RGV MINI ENCUENTRO & POTLUCK


WHERE DO OUR TOMATOES COME FROM?
The student/farm-worker alliance works with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers to bring fair wages to tomato pickers and human rights to the fields of Florida. This is an attempt to let people and students at UTPA know the issues being faced to farm-workers and make a change to end poverty and modern-day slavery that farmworkers face.

The event will take place on:
Saturday October 24th

12pm to 6pm

POTLUCK LUNCH from 12pm-1pm
please bring a dish to share(preferably vegetarian and/or vegan dishes are greatly appreciated)

Food Justice in our community
