BIG THINGS COMING OUT OF THE VALLEY!!

Just a reminder that this blog is here to help anyone and anything mostly but not limited to folks from the Rio grande valley. I know that I haven't exposed this blog entirely in ways that I know I could but only because i'm shy and don't feel nearly as educated as other people and my lack of an elusive vocabulary makes me really discouraged. -_-

Also, laziness accounts for the majority of me not writing alot. haha.

but anyway enough with the personal feelings, what I wanna say is that if anyone wants to help in any sort of way with this blog or even post in it don't hesitate to. You can email me at radicalgrandevalle@gmail.com and I will message you the password. I want to be able to help, inform, influence and expose as many people as I can positively

Now to the main reason for this post. I've been hanging around the diy house scene a lot these days and in fact i'm supposed to be writing a paper about it but instead i'm writing in here because I feel this is more important. Now to all of you punk heads who know me - I am not selling out, I still have all my punk records sitting in my house and I still listen to punk. I just need a record player. LOL. Anyway, I don't think I can even put into words how house music has inspired me and just helped me relax and try to get rid of my angsty self. Not only house music in general but the people who showed me it, my friends who play it and are great at it. I thank them so much for introducing it to me.

Here is a really impressive mixtape from one of my great friends since elementary, Dj Flux. He has become an incredible and influential dj to many people in the valley and mixes a variety of tech-house, fidget, minimal and techno. This mixtape is so intense it gives me the chills and that feeling when your body tingles through your arms and stomach. Mostly tech-house here which i'm really starting to enjoy way more than fidget. The set list is slamming!

Dj Flux summer tech mix
1.audiojack _ jack the keys
2.slam _ positive education (d'julz remix)
3.dj sneak _ all over my face '08
4.electroOrganik _ the monologue session
5.electroOrganik _ the monologue session (ruben alvarez remix)
6.dusty kid _ klin
7.james zabiela _ darkness 2
8.boogie drama _ magnetic shore
9.ben colin _ doov (bass kleph's extra bass edit)
10.milton channels _ black is black

And last but definitely not least is one of radical grande valles's favorite dj's, SPIN LADEN! If you all didn't get the message his self-produced track "whip that" was played by the worlds famous, Dre Skull on Kissy Sell Outs Radio 1 Show. Now if you all aren't aware, Kissy Sell Outs Radio 1 show is an Online International Radio Broadcast that plays some of the best accomplished and achieved house music by professionals djs. Mad props and great success to Spin Laden for getting his track to be played world-wide by Dre Skull.

For those of you interested, Whip That is coming out on May 26 on Content Records with a remix by Rampage (Nightshifters/Ghetto Division)
