Two very respected and avid supporters of our punk family passed away a couple of days ago
and to raise support for their families we are hosting a benefit show. Anyone who knew Crack and Ruby or whoever wants to come support this cause is invited.

Cracks mom is goin to put a slide show together with pictures of him and all his friends for the ceremony on Saturday.

*the ceremony for Crack is going to be in Raymondville, this Saturday from 10am to 1pm. Hernandez funerary off the express way.

*We are goin to throw a PUNK benifit show to get some money together and give it to our friends, Crack and Ruby's, families.

It will be a HOUSE SHOW, in Edinburg TX. 724 W. Hill drive.

MANICHAUS WINTERFEST!

Join us for an evening of folk/acoustic, experimental, rock, punk and house music at the ManicHaus WinterFest benefit show! Proceeds to help establish a nonprofit! This grassroots effort is spearheaded by creative individuals and groups that want to help ManicHaus remain a viable alternative art space for the McAllen arts community. Due to the nature of some of the performances, no one under 18 allowed after acoustic set.

INGENIOUS!

it's that time of the month again!

The lineup is indeed more rougher from the last artwalk. It will be Conquest of Breads 1st official public appearance/show. They consists of members from Avocado hand grenade and Kegparty!. C.O.B. sound a lot like early anarcho-crust coming out of the late 80's and early 90's and draw their influences from antischism and propaghandi. Their sound is epic and harmoniously exacerbated. Expect to see a lot more coming from this band in the near future!

Tentacles will also be making their 1st appearance. Though they have been playing for a fair amount of time, their sound is breathtaking nonetheless. They are largely influenced and sound like mid 90's hardcore bands such as pg. 99, gallows holier than the cross, shikari and bands from the robotic empire label. Heavy!

I stumbled upon Drew Hoffman through a friend of mine and have yet to hear him play live. Although, from hearing his mp3's I can say his music sounds straight up like melodic acoustic. We'll see what's up!
