SOMA DOCUMENTARY SCREENING - HOSTED BY ONE WORD CLUB + COMEDY CLUB + MORE

Radical folks & friends from Brownsville who are apart of the Comedy Club have organized to bring down documentarian, Nick Cooper to show his film "Soma". The film is about a form of therapy incorporating politics of anarchism and a way of fighting the physiological effects of authoritarianism through Soma. This sounds too awesome! The idea of fighting hierarchy through a therapeutic sense sounds too pimp.

My good friend Enock of Adelante! (one of the very few people still supporting the diy scene in the valley) has come out with an awesome new label called, "VALLE MISERIA DISKOS". He made the label to help out his friends from Monterrey, Mexico put out punk jamz on vinyl. If you all aren't aware there is an economic crisis(more intense than the U.S. I would imagine) going on in Mexico, Central and South-America and these bands can not afford to put their records out individually. Thankfully, Enock and other labels are collectively working together to help these bands put their music out. Without the solidarity of other labels and Enock, these bands would not be able to afford to put their music out.
